About the founder
I’m Jimena, a traveler passionate about exploring new cultures, places, and experiences. I was born in Madrid, but I spent the first 16 years of my life living abroad with my family.
Brazil had always been a country that intrigued me, and life — in its wonderful way — brought a Brazilian into my path. In August 2020, I finally decided to pack my bags and start a new chapter in Rio.
I created In The Green to share the beauty and culture that made me fall in love with Rio de Janeiro. A space that allows others to experience the magic of the city in an authentic and meaningful way.
